Humuhumu is a designer and programmer based out of Los Angeles and San Francisco. She travels a lot, mainly to visit friends and tiki bars (often at the same time). She is the creator of several websites dedicated to Polynesian Pop, and is a moderator at Tiki Central.

Before Kona Club opened to the public, we were invited to attend a special preview night. The place is gorgeous, and after the rest of the attendees went home, we got to stay with the owner, Doug Miller, and Bamboo Ben (who did the fab interiors) and his wife Vicki. That's when it got <em>really</em> fun.
